The waves crashed on the shore. The sun was out and there was not a cloud in the sky. However, this was only an allusion that it was warm. It was still the dead of winter and the wind blew off the water and made the air that much colder for anyone who walked across the shore. There were a few things still there from the past. A few things made of wood were scattered about, but no one knew what they were. They were things made by distant creatures that were long gone.
Walking along the shores were two wolf figures. They were both male and they came to rest right near one of the wooden structures “What is that?” the taller of the two asked the other. The tall one always asked the short one questions. He just assumed the short one knew just about everything. The short one shrugged “I don’t know what they are called.” The tall brute made a face and sighed “Sage you must know what it is. They don’t call you smart for no reason.” So the shorter ones name was Sage. He was not that much shorter than the first brute, however he was clearly less athletic and did not spend too much time at play or hunting to keep his strength up as much as the other. Though they did not look it too much, these two were brothers. One was taller than the other with a tanish pelt on his back. He was quite attractive for a young wolf, and his only fault was knowing it all too well. The other brother was only slightly shorter. I was not as strong but he was definitely smarter than his brother.
The two of them sniffed around the water’s edge, trying not to get wet while they were there.
