Resistance Movement
There was once a time where the light breed horses and the cold bloods all lived together in harmony. They all worked together, and even saw each other as equals. They each owned their land, sometimes even sharing it with each other. Things were great at this time, until of course a new King came into power. He was a Thoroughbred Quarter horse cross, and quite wonky in the head. After he came into power with his Queen, all the equality went down. Draft horses were seen as lowers, where as the Lighter breeds were seen as highers. Hot bloods could own land, where as drafts were more slaves or if they were lucky herd studs. The King had adored the same breeds as himself, the Thoroughbred and Quarter horses. They got special treatment, a place in his own home or even land if there was a dispute over who got to own it. It was a paradise for some, living hell for others.
But soon, a resistance group started to form. Draft horses and Lighter breeds forming together, they liked the harmony that they had before.
The resistance group over threw the king, making this place into a Kingless society. The Queen was put into a jail, but she ended up dying.
But this 'war' still wasn't over, there was still plenty of discrimination against others. The resistance movement still stood strong, and soon the Warmblood was created.
The draft horses got their own land, and the lighter breeds stood clear away from them. Both races still angry at each other.
Now, over a century later, parents and elders tell their children about what had happened so many years ago. There is still many of them that hate each other. But the resistance is still strong, and they are now allowing a King to hopefully make the land a peaceful place.
