A young white wolf slowly walked along the forest floor, her mind swarming with thoughts and questions never forming an answer.
Suddenly she stopped and her ears pricked up, she took a deep breath trying to familiarise the scent...nothing recognisable, it was a new smell, a strange smell, one worth checking out.
Sprinting towards the scent she soon found herself looking at some strange canine colapsed in a heap on the wet ground surrounded by poles. She stared at the wolf-like animal for some time, some new questions in her head arroused 'Should i help?' 'What if she turns on me?''Is this a trap?'
Confused and unsure, Silver just stood there staring down at the limp canine.

The poles around her had a strange scent. They smelled like the ground. She heard some birds calling them 'trees'. Trees? She sighed, and saw her breath turn white, and leave. She blinked at the strangeness of her surroundings. Why was Siberus so anxious to be out?
After some time, WGSH 0817 slowly stood, and shook snow from her. Her legs were still weak, and she staggared. She managed to keep from falling, and when she recovered she saw herself looking at a wolf, or something. Whatever it was, it looked unsure. She tilted her head, the area getting weirder and weirder.

Silver felt curious about the frail canine before her, and ignoring all of her usual loner traits she took a small step closer and in a very unmannerly way told the strange dog her name "Silver", expecting the canine to understand exactly what she meant, but it was rare that Silver would talk to anyone so at least this was a start.
She stared at the confused creature waiting for a response.

WGSH 0187 tilted her head. "Silver?" She asked, making sure she heard right. "I like that name! Hey! Have you seen my friend? He was around here somewhere, but now I can't find him." She said. Silver was a wolf just like Siberus, so she should be able to find him, right? She really couldn't believe that there could be more than one wolf in the world. She also thought the building was the world. Why was she learning all of these things all of a sudden? Why did it all feel so familiar? Why wasn't she terrified of the wolf?
Tilting her head made her dizy, and she fell from it. She tried to stand, but found it much better to lay down.

Silver tilted her head, this canine seemed to be new to all this, she gazed toward the direction in which the creature had emerged and saw the steel gates of hell peering over the horizon "ROUD" she thought
She looked back at her 'new friend', her purple eyes cold.
"No havent seen anyone...i usually steer clear of...company"
She sat down and gave a good sniff into the air, familiarising herself with every scent, the humans and chemicals left behind in ROUD, the fresh scent of nature and...a wolf, masked by the groggy stench of rust and humans.She let the smell linger in her nose before trotting off. She looked behind at the animal laying on the ground. Silver couldnt beleive she was 'helping' someone it wasnt like her to even talk, especially to strangers because of her 'trust issue'. But she was following the kind instinct deep inside. "So you wanna find your bud or not?"

She stared at the other wolf, fearing she would answer her, and walk away. But when she stopped, so did her fears. This wolf was gonna help her! WGSH 0817's tail thumped against the ground twice before she fought her way to her paws.
"Yes, please! Thanks! He's really nice, I'm sure he'd love to meet you!"
She made her way to the wolf, excitement giving her the ability to put aside her weaknesses. She was going to find her friend, while making a new one! No wonder Siberous wanted out! The humans were keeping them from this happiness. The thought of the humans made her sad, but she looked past that. They kept her from this. It's only right that she feel happy now.
Wasn't it?

Seeing the joy in the young hybrid's face must have sparked something in Silver's dark interior for she gave a small smile and a chuckle.
"A friend...nice to have one" she mumbled before flicking her head to bring her out of her trance.
"Well then let's head on...what...what is your name?"

WGSH 0817 looked at the wolf, and tilted her head.
Name? That thing that things are called by?
"I don't really have one. They call me WGSH 0817. Is that my name?"
She felt a little upset, hoping it wasn't her name. She hoped her name was different, something pretty like Silver's name. Maybe Silver knew? All of the wolves she met were kind and smart, not like the stupid mean beasts the humans made them out to be. Now she knew the humans gave her more lies than truths about the world. And she would have sort out truth from lie on her own.
Luckily, she had nice wolves like Siberous and Silver to help her.

"WGSH 0817?!"
Silver was shocked for a moment, but considering that this odd character had just come sprinting out of the ROUD compound she expected no different.
"Well...we could give you a new name, a nice one. What do you like?"
She felt a little stupid for asking that, it seemed this poor animal hadn't seen the outside world beyond that dark, gloomy hell hole known as ROUD, so she wasn't expecting a straight forward answer.

WGSH 0817 looked around. "What do I like? Uhh...I dunno! I like you, and Siberus!" She said, giving Silver a doggish grin.
Turning it over in her mind, however, WGSH 0817 realized there were more things she disliked than liked. At first, she had no idea what the words meant, but after meeting Siberus, she realied the she liked him. Now that she met Silver, she liked more things, and therefore had something to oppose the way she felt about the way the humans treated her, she realied she disliked them, and all they did. She realied that the way she felt was like being tired and laying down. You don't realize how great laying down is unless you're tired. You don't miss something you have. One thing led to another, she supposed.
A snowflake landed on her nose. She looked up.
"Hey! What's that stuff up there that fell on me? It looks like the top of the cages - or the ceilings- but it looks so high up! What's up with that? And its falling. The humans should fix, shouldn't they?"

Silver chuckled at WGSH 0817's curiosity
"Thats called snow, that up there is the sky and it's not broken silly!"
She stopped to sniff the ground, it seemed her friend was close but was more than likely to still be moving. "What kind of friend leaves the other one behind?" she thought "Maybe this is why I don't have friends..."
"So..." she began "What were you running for?"

WGSH 0817 tilted her head. Taking in the info about the Snow and Silver's new question.
"Uhh.....The humans. They had me and my friend in their place, and we escaped! Siberous helped me outta there, but I couldn't keep up with him, he was so fast! But he couldn't wait for me, since the humans were coming....I thought the humans were nice to us....But.....They were mean really.....It's so hard....I....I thought they were good....But they were really mean. I never realized that until I saw how nice you and Siberous were to me...."
She looked at Silver. "So which way are we going?"

Silver's face darkned as the gruesome memories of her past came flooding back to her, she cringed at the thought and lay down in the cold snow to cool her down.
"H-hang on a sec...and i'll be fine,then we'll head towards the river up ahead"
Silver never realised that she would find herself thinking about the past ever again, but all the talk of humans made it sneak back into her mind.
She lay there, before her confused friend, feeling stupid and embarassed for showing her feelings but she had to let them out.
"We...we better find your friend soon" she panted
"Then I can leave" she mumbled to herself, the old lone wolf Silver may very well be back, unfortunate for most people Silver meets, she changes mood quite quickly, anything could set her off.

WGSH 0817 stared at Silver. Was she okay? Was this normal? She seemed tired, even though she was just laying down. A thought occured to her. What if this was normal wolf behavior? What was she supposed to do? She tilted her head, then slowly laid down too. "What's a river?" She whispered, not sure if she was supposed to talk when they were laying down like this. What were they doing? Maybe she was just tired? Was it something she said?
Her tail wagged. "I can't wait 'til we meet up with him! You'll like him! And the three of us can travel around together! Oh, think of it, Silver! It'll be so fun! We can run, and just....be crazy, and have fun! It'll be great! We can be so............fun! I can't wait, I'm so excited!" By this time, she was standing, chest low in play position, and her front paws dancing and stomping in excitement with her tail wagging back and forth, flagging her glee.
She gave Silver a playful nip on the ear, and yipped. The happiness was too big for her to keep to herself.

Silver smiled, WGSH 0817 reminded her of an old friend she had, he was one of the best friends and most fun person she'd ever met.
She chuckled to herself "Red"
"Em...well, let's go find him then, and a river-- it's well alot of water anyway...you DO know what water is right?"
Standing up now, feeling much better, she slowly trotted along the trail with WGSH 0817 performing leaps and bounds around her.
