The silver female strode slowly through the lands as the cool sun bounced on her pelt and made her shine like a full moon. She was looking quietly for anyone or anything that might be of interest. Her stunning blue eyes grazed the land and smiled. The short grassed area around her might be a good spot for small prey creatures. She pricked her silver ears. One of those rare warm breezes brushed silver and orange splashed fur as she sniffed the air. She closed her shinnying eyes and pressed her head into the wind, enjoying it. Her fur moved like the short grass around her. Suddenly she wondered if there was any other wolves’ around. Her eyes snapped open and sniffed the breeze more carefully, nothing. She looked around her and found a dead old tree hanging off a small rise in the earth. It looked firmly planted, so she gracefully leapt upon it and stood there. She gazed around silently her eyes missing nothing. Slowly she raised her head and slide her left back leg out slightly as a howl parted her lips. She simple howled for a friend or maybe an enemy to fight. Truth be told, she was lonely.

His nostrils flared as he scoffed, hearing the cry of a wolf. Nature seemed to not want him to rest, and he grumbled, "Why me?" as he worked up the energy to wake up. Licking his muzzle, the irritated dog rose to his paws, knowing that he'd never be able to sleep in the outdoors. The easily excited dog narrowed his eyes, eager to go and give that creature a piece of his mind. No one disturbed his sleep while he still had enough bark in him to complain about it and enough bite to back himself up with!
Taking a whiff, the scent of wolf rushed in quickly, though many different scents were scattered around. He felt his anger peak at that; What nerve those wolves have! he thought angrily to himself. Most scents were fading, their owners having passed by hours ago. There was one that was recent though, and he settled for following that one. A female, he could tell from the scent. He launched off, trying to catch this possible disturbance before she walked off without facing his wrath.
The scent was nearing; Hishigata smirked slightly to himself. Sure, he was way smaller than a regular wolf, but that didn't mean that he should keep his opinions to himself. It had been too long; his feral instincts had long been dormant. He flicked his tail, eyes calm and figure poised; a silver wolf, from what he could see.
"Oi, wolf!" he scowled visibly. He certainly didn't try to hide his disdain of wolves; he thought he was very justified in disliking them, after all. A wolf was beneath him in his mind; they were no better than the useless dogs brought here to him. "Ever think of being a little quieter?"
Eyes narrowed, the dog looked over the stranger, blue eyes scanning every movement in the surroundings; he'd learned that wolves often didn't travel alone..
