Oil? Was that oil she just spotted shimmering along the rippling clarity of the lake? How did she know that? The thought was a glimmer within the depths of her intricate mind, something about the florescent colors dancing just along the surface seemed vaguely familiar and she had plucked the name of it from somewhere she couldn't place. it was that damn block she had, she really couldn't remember anything accept running from a place with blood rushing down her jaws and slowly trailing down her chest. A feeling of panic and pure pleasure swelled within her small chest but for the life of her nothing could jog her mind and release that stupid block so she could remember WHY she felt like that and WHY she had been running. But then again did she really want to remember....
Chilling voids concentrated on the swirls of majestic color while tiara tilted delicately to the side, observing the rather pretty occurrence that seemed unnatural. Yet even with the colors that seemed oh so harmless her hocks began to raise and large audits pinned to the back of perfectly carved cranium, a sharp smell bit at her senses causing a snarl to erupt from vocals and ivories to snap with a distinct click. It was the smell of chemicals, the smell of man and their disgusting waste and pollution, the men that shot them down one by one and watched them like hawks. This was their doing, she could feel it as bile rose up the back of her throat and mitts propelled her backwards.
The sight of dead fish that looked burned and haggard soon caught her attention causing more growls to pluck from her feminine chords. This place was hell, case closed.
Swift and agile movements carried her along the banks to a clearer area, her sheath of russet dappling and cream underlay shifted fluidly with the coiling and releasing of muscles. Once she removed herself from the vile and completely tainted area whole being seemed to relax and she sat with mitts just along the shore, letting the lovely fluid caress them here and there. She didn't know what to do here, she knew no one and nothing. It got rather old at time but what could a dog do? Just keep calm, and watch where you step.... Mind seemed to answer while lids fells over bright pools and she bathed in the little warmth the sun was brushing the earth with.

"Well, well, well," A seemingly kind voice whispered. Her voice had traits of anger and interest, she could never get over the sight of a dog. It was yet another female, she sighed, they seemed to be the worst to handle. Her thoughts traced back to Arwen, such a fiery being, pity she had'nt joined Syria in the game. Her fur bristled in slight annoyance and she quickly shook it off with a pumping run that erased her former anger with a burst of energy. Syria shook her coat happily and she came down upon the dog, she growled, regarding the dog; if it had'nt noticed for it's weak sense of smell. Syria observed the dog, she was... alright, all dogs looked some what like wolves so she shrugged off her contempt for the things at that very moment. From previous experiance, it seemed dogs were a prissy race; she'd have to play "nice".
"Hello, dog," She nearly snarled the words out, being polite was just not her expertise. Damn it Syria, kill it or force it to join... whichever way is fine with me, Her mind had recently started to snap at er when Syria seemed to be doing something it did'nt like. She laughed out loud, looking like a crazy old fool once more. She shut her maw tight and looked at the dog again, "Your name," Once more... a demand. Questions were a peculiar way of speech, she'd asked questions before but they sometimes were useless questions. Her form shifted closer to the dog, it was hard, with the stench it gave off, but she with held her sturdy gorund. Syria glared at the dog, her cold eyes piercing every section of the dogs body; she needed a smart dog or a stupid dog with muscle. Her mane went with the breeze, making her tense... ROUD.

She heard it, the rustling and obnoxious noise wolves seemed to make as they got in a tizzy and came blundering forward, and once the stench hit her nose she was positive that was it before lids snapped open and head turned slightly to look upon the beast. Brows quirked heavenward while gaze swept over the femme, anger seemed to roil off of her which wasn't a surprise in the least either. Why are wolves such a cocky breed, i swear ROUD would be better off tearing after them... Thoughts floated like a hay could through her mind while she kept silent but looked at the other as if it were absolutely mentally retarded. She had come across a few in her years that she was out and about on her own, some were very accepting and gracious of her presence, yet others were absolutely narrow minded like the one that forced her presence upon Ascension.
"Well, hello wolf. How about you give me yours first instead of being a pompous piece of shit."
She spit out, her tongue acid lined and sharp as usual. She wouldn't take shit from any uppity wolf because it thought it's bloodlines should be on a pedestal. She had bashed heads with a few wolves and walked away victorious, yes this mangy overly tall femme thought she would deal with this angry demeanor and being treated like a little servant bowing to every wish. Yeah, the wolf needed a wake up call and Ascension figured it might have to be herself that gave it.
Pillars rose while body seemed to stiffen and visionaries flared with a growing anger that wasn't one to play with. Stance was one that wouldn't back down, she wouldn't be pushed, shoved, and ordered about like that. yes the wolf seemed to be PLAYING a little act, but she could see right through it. Dense wolves these days, nothing but a nuisance most of the time. but something seemed to catch the beast's attention and just as she scented the humans so did Ascension. A growl soon leaked from her once more, those ingrates had caught her off guard when she had first arrived here, inserted a somthing within the nape of her neck that she could just FEEL. Even though flesh covered it and it was embedded deep she knew it was there, she could feel it doing its dastardly work. She wasn't exactly a happy camper about it either.
"I can't wait till they start taggin' you asses with the way you act."
She did another once over of the wolf, waiting to see the reaction she prodded from it. She didn't like the closeness it was putting forth but she could deal, but if it came to close her reaction would exactly be welcoming.

Syria was thrilled, this dog seemed even feistier than the last. She grinned happily, she was definantly a keeper if she agreed to Syria's plan. She had no mind to insults, she flicked them off like ticks in summer and replaced them with an almost calm voice. She sat down, ignoring the scent of approaching humans, she was, of course a nervous wreck at the scent of them, her scent rolled with fury across a large diameter. This dog seemed to have some rather impressive scars, all of them took shape like hers, wolves and dogs had battled it out with this dog. Throughout her furious state to the humans, she gave a toothy grin, she was beyond excited at her find... it just had to be ruined by the humans who made her stoop to dogs.
Syria thought quickly, maybe stumbling in her thoughts for a few moments before letting a howl, long and earnest rip into the sky. Syria's narrow eyes squinted, the humans had stopped and grew a wary air. They must of been the pups, the weak one's the ROUD humans seemed to carry around to do their meager work. She scowled, Syria found it oddly insulting she had been intimadated for a few seconds at the scent of the pups. She shook her thick mane, hearing the dog's comment on how she could'nt wait to have wolves take the supposed blame for whatever the dogs had done. She rolled her eyes and smiled widely, "Thats the spirit," She mused aloud, mostly to the dog. It felt nice praising another being, oddly. Syria then turned, and just like she had done to Arwen, trotted away.
Syria glanced back at the dog. "I forgot to mention, dog, My name is Syria," SHe paused and looked at the swirling clouds above, "I dont think you appreciate the title "Dog" do you? Either way, I'd like to call dog's I actually find interesting and worth respecting she-wolf's," She could'nt wait for the nasty remark in reply, she was actually hovering there for a moment, waiting eagerly for her reply. Syria rolled her shoulders and turned once more, a tad agitated. "I suggest you follow me, Even if you know the ROUD humans ways more... I need to suggest something before you run off," Her face was blank, her glittering eyes seemed somber and in a way; sad. If she was ever going to play her game, she needed at least one dog and hybrid. The three canines, wolf, dog, and hybrid... whom were alike but totally different. Syria sighed, It would be a long and rough game.

Sight never once faltered from the she-wolf, the femme had something up her sleeve and Ascension didn't know if she wanted any part of it. but the menacing vine that had poured from the beast soon seemed to ebb and be filled with a different light that also made Ascension rather wary, why the hell did she have to stop here? First snotty wolves and then the humans with death wishes stumbling upon her, she supposed it was just one of those days where her buttons were pushed and she was wound up tight. Lovely.
Soon the wolfess let loose, haunting yet poetic notes flying from her depths to ignite a fear within the approaching stalkers. She herself had to admit her audits were rather pleased with song that carried along the rippling shores and swayed over the breeze, it just had the soothing quality that almost caused jealousy to flare within. Dogs where never gifted with those lovely chords, yes beagles and such could howl all day long and moan there fears and feelings to the empty night but it could never compare to a wolves. And here you are lusting after something a wolf has you idiot, yeah that's really smart right... mind seemed to lash out on herself and those envied thoughts were quickly trampled out just to leave her with a quiet interest and burning energy.
The next moment the wolf opened her trap she pronounced her name clearly then let loose with another stupid statement, yet it was ignored. Her name however, Syria, tossed and folded within death rap mind, being stored away with her face. She was never one to forget names and faces, that was a key thing to survival, keep track of everyone you've come upon. She could feel the pressure though of the now announced Syria trying to provoke her. Well if the bitch wants to do that than go ahead, the more you try, the less you get... mind hissed to herself while Syria began to move and announced she should follow?
What the hell? The dense wolf pretty much harassed her then waned her to follow like some blind pup? her expression had melted into another like butter and Ascension didn't want to jump to conclusion's but it was almost melancholy, was she serious? She called her a dog and provoked her with falseness and bravado just to close down and usher her onwards?
"Follow you? Are you bloody serious? How about you give me one good damn reason or just tell me here. After all, im just a dog."
She wouldn't go that easily. Yes interest had been peeked within the last parts of the statement but that wasn't enough. She was firecracker nd did as she pleased.

She was beginning to wonder if her game would work. She frowned slightly, held back by the dog who stood put. If this dog thinks her pride would be broken by following me I swear! She glared at the dog now, her lips curling to reveal an irritated display of teeth. "Do you want the humans to kill you?" Acid seemed to drip from her words as she started to walk away; her head still eyeing the dog curiously. Did she believe she could escape the ROUD humans, at the very least fend them off? Syria had made them falter only slightly, now they seemed to have excitment radiating off them. Syria grolwed lowly to herself and tried to catch sight of them, she seemed to hiss as her vision blured from concentrating so hard on a single horizon. Her ears swiveled: straining to catch the sound of their foot steps trampling through the lake's surrounding forest. Syria let out a silent moan of annoyance, she did'nt know why she wanted this dog so badly to follow her at that very moment...
"Follow you? Are you bloody serious? How about you give me one good damn reason or just tell me here. After all, im just a dog."
Anger flared in her eyes and she snarled viciously in another attempt to show her annoyance at the dog. "I am as serious as I'll ever be, and if your smarter than the average dog, I believe you should follow me, the big bad wolf who knows nearly every area in Canaan and the proetection through Cage forest and every other place in Canaan," She sucked in a breath, wondering if she had made sense at all through her distant rambling. She shivered as the humans continued to move closer, more cautiously and more quietly. Syria needed to get out of there quickly... so did the dog.
Her eyes looked both determined and terrified. Syria was not invincible, she was afraid of death as most beings are. She started to knead the ground with her always extended claws, a rare sign of nervousness from herself. She made short breaths, her mouth open with her toungue lolling out. The eyes of a wolf are usually solemn and cool, but hers seemed heated and excited now... if there was to be a fight she knew, if the humans had those fire sticks; guns they were called, they could not possibly win. If they had no weapons though... they- meaning she and the dog, had a chance at dismantling the damned humans. One less human improves my life drastically, she thought comfortingly to herself, soothing herself. Syria sighed, trying to calm herself. And then, she looked at the dog one more time, her eyes seeming to soften a bit before she stepped closer to the dog and said with a smirk, "If you wish to fight, I will fight... death would be a blessing," True, Syria was afraid of death... it did not mean she wanted it at times.

Anger, irritation, fear, and other emotions soon began to swell from the other and pour out in actions such as snarling and kneading the earth in a rather feline like manner? Had she just pushed a button? Had she really found a way to get the wolfess all riled up? For even with the humans closing in behind her like a herd of elephants in the stillness of the area she could tell they weren't just the reason for the panic and anger that was issuing forth. A small victorious grin slid over her maw while a light laugh plucked from her, even the angry tones the other was snarling and biting out did nothing to dim the humor of the situation. What was so humorous you ask? It was the fact that the all mighty wolf that had come in all big and bad was now a nervous wreck and almost begging her to follow, how bad could it be?
Voids rolled heavenward momentarily before mitts were set in motion and she padded forward, watching Syria eye behind them where the humans of ROUD still seemed to be fighting the foliage.
The only thing that seemed to throw her off was the death part thrown in at the end, it just didn't seem to belong and the fact that this oddity had appeared cause pace to cease and a unsure look to pass over blank features. Was she now about to follow a damn wolf with a death wish? A wolf that was completely lost up in the mind area? Muscles seemed to seize up on her and pools of azure blue glanced behind her once more, maybe she was better off facing the microchip bastards then follow this confused beast that seemed almost near rabid before her. She began to search for foam oozing from the others mouth but found nothing, early stages maybe? She sucked in the air around her with nares, but the sickly sweet smell of that particular sickness hadn't penetrated the air.
"Ill follow, but you turn one of your psychotic fangs on me ill have your jugular. Got that?"
She hummed out leathaly, her nape began to ripple and bristle upward slightly, showing she would not be toyed with before she was soon in a whirlwind of movement and hurtling forward, putting distance between the ROUD members and herself. No she didn't wait for the deranged one who she said she was going to follow. If the wolf wanted her so bad she would come forth and step before her to direct the way, but for now, she didn't need those cool handed creeps getting a hold of her hyde again, for she feared that would be the last time they did.
Pads skirted her silently around the rippling waters she had just been eyeing not to long ago and spirited her into the wilderness that surrounded it. She had a feeling the wolf would come with, the look in her eyes and just her demeanor seemed to have that in the bag. Just keep moving....

The ROUD humans kept onwards, picking their way through the shrubs and low hanging trees that surrounded the lake shore. They had time. After her comment on wanting death, she felt oddly soothed; feeling as if a weight had been lifted and she could fight through anything. Her muzzle tipped high and she scented the air once more, her radar-like ears swiveled rapidly in tune with her inhales. With a satisfied growl, she stepped away from the dog and watched as she seemed to contemplate her desperate offering. Her mind had ignored the desperation in her voice for this grand dog to follow, it was too good to have a fierce and almost deadly dog that back-talked her agree to her sick game. Yet, the dog did not agree to anything except follow her... good enough for Syria, that was.
Syria had a thrill run through her as the dog commented on having her jugular. Just like the wolves would do in hunting and battle, she seemed to hear a sigh in her mind but she flicked it off and shot towards the dog's direction. It did not take long for her to catch up, she hardly broke a sweat when she came side by side with the dog. It almost felt good to run alongside another being again, she'd of preferred a wolf but a dog would do; for now.
This dog did'nt trust her one bit, Syria did'nt blame her at all. She gave off the impression of a crazed thing that would stop at nothing to retrieve what she wanted. She was, in a way. Yet, she had toned down over the last few months, ever since her decision to recruit a dog and a wolf, she had grow relatively practised in being kinder and more emotional. It was all but a mask, of course, she only showed true fondness... well, she never showed true fondness ever, only in her pup-hood. Syria, with her tongue lolling freely along her face, glanced over at the dog and asked, her voice a bit muffled,"What is your name?," It was actually in a sincere tone, she needed information on a potential member in on the game.
They kept a steady run, they would soon enough leave the lake area and probably enter the Golden Hana Meadow; seemingly comfortable.... with a twist. She remembered it all to well, the exploding land, the cries of the dying. It was both horrible to Syria and, knowing Syria, exciting and a new experiance. SHe was on its fringes, when the golden tint to the land started to seep into the ground. Syria shook her head from the memory and made a straight look ahead. They had escaped, but she knew the humans would be displeased and report to their den that they had heard her. Wether her howl had benefited the two or not, she'd never know...
OOC`` Hey Ace, after you post would you like to continue our RP in Golden Hana Meadow?
