Her paws hit the ground in rhythm, a easy gallop. Her mind clear. Her breath easy, nothing heavy. She moved gracefully. Her coat full of body as her muscles moved underneath. She reach the side of the meadow, open, clear, snow covered. She smiled. Her paws leaving her trail behind. Her tail waving as she moved her paws picked up high through the white substance beneath her pads. She loved to move, couldn't stay still for a long period of time. Her love was in running. Where there was no muscle not working. Every bone working in harmony. She knew she wouldn't be alone for too long, there were too many animals in the area for her to be on her own. Her mind was stuck on the clear sky above her. The snow under her glowing. She loved it. If only the snow could come without the cold.. Her honeysuckle amber eyes closed. Her body slowed into a gentle walk. A easy transition. Her cream color body still wanting to be moving. She walked to the middle of the meadow. Then grinned, she looked up at the sky. Eyes wide. Her lips parted, her voice rang. A Song of her own, having no sorrow like many others. Her song being happy merely lonely. Her head fell back into place and she looked around laying down on her back, her stomach towards the sky, her eyes closed once again her ear doing all the work. Listening for the sound of paws hitting the earth, she waited.

A wolf. Mori calmly thought to himself, lying on the snow-covered ground. He was partially interested, being a curious creature. It had been quite a while since he had seen a wolf, being as annoying of a creature as he was. He smirked at the thought of annoying a wolf. It was a grand challenge to him, since he could be killed by a wolf quite easily. He was merely a medium-sized mutt, only a few inches large than his dog breed was to be, but still very much shorter than a wolf.
He listened to the crunching of the snow beneath his paws as he walked along the frozen meadow, putting on his kind face. A male should always have manners when meeting someone new, after all. He could spot the cream wolf, and he knew he stuck out like a sore thumb in all this white background.
The scent of pure wolf filled his nostrils, but that wouldn't daunt him for long. In his way of living, a good mind was all needed to survive, nothing more. He was definitely getting in closer.
By now he was clearly within view. He was taking his time getting there, walking calmly across the snow-filled area. He casually gazed around, taking the scenery. Everything was dead in winter, he knew. But it would be a rebirth in the spring with everything coming back to life. Just like me. A rebirth..
He brought his attention back to the task at hand, noticing he was very close to the stranger, no more than a few feet away now. The stranger was female. His green eyes gazed at her, a bit confused as to what she was supposed to be doing. She was lying on the ground, belly to the sky, with closed eyes. How rude, he thought to himself, calling me here so she can sleep..
He wasn't about to walk away without giving his thoughts, though. "Are you calling others for a reason, or are you singing a lullaby so you can sleep?"

Her eyes stayed closed as the sun shined brightly into them, her body completely relaxed, She was well on her way to falling asleep. Though she wouldn't because, of course, that would be rude. Her maw held a smile as she laid belly up in the sun, letting it warm her and the snow beside her, sparkled. Her eyes opened as she could smell a mutt, a hybrid, a male. She grinned having no reason to fear such being. She closed her eyes again and awaited the wolfdog to wander closer. She sniffed the air keeping track of him. She sighed and listened as the male took his time getting near her, she heard his paws crunching through the snow. She smiled and listened acting as if she were really asleep. She took a deep breath as the mutt approached her. She smiled, 'are you calling other's for a reason, or are you singing...' she smiled and her eyes flickered open. She studied his face for a moment before turning over and standing up, her honeysuckle amber eyes locked with his momentarily. She breathed in and took a quick note of his stance. Noting how much wolf was in him. "Can a Girl not call some company?" she asked her voice gentle and soft, almost calming. She smiled her eyes glanced into his. The sound of a small prey like animal trying to move through the snow without being noticed, hit her ears. She sighed happily and her ears twisted slightly backwards as she kept track on the rabbit. She looked back at the male and smiled a friendly smile. "So, I am Dakini, you?" she said, obviously she had nothing against the hybrids or dogs.

"A girl can call company, yes. But a girl is also supposed to be awake when she calls company." He found himself lifting a brow at this wolf's over friendliness. He usually thought of a dog when he thought of a creature that was supposed to be overly friendly toward someone, not a wolf. But, it didn't matter to him anyway. He shrugged it off.
He found it odd that she was introducing herself. Wolves in this land didn't appreciate mutts or dogs in general; he'd learned that soon after he was dumped here. But it was rude to not give a name after someone introduced them self, and he was a mutt full of manners.
"I go by the name Kishimori.." he sighed, bowing as a regular custom of the land he was from. He could already tell he was far from home.. That, or the canines here didn't share the need he had to have extreme manners. Whatever.. He didn't really care, after all.
His tail curled over his back as he looked over to the horizon. There were probably others wandering around the land, where ever this place was. Though, he knew most would not be as friendly as this wolf. But they might get annoyed with him quicker, which he found to his advantage. But then again, he might get chased if he took the annoying thing too far, which he knew he was prone to.. He might as well stick around here for a while.
Not too long after bringing his attention back to this strange wolf, he found himself wondering something. "What are you doing in this place, anyway?" Sure, he would be the type of depressive mutt to hang around a barren and cold area, but why would this happy wolf be here? "There's sure not much to see here, and I'm pretty sure that not many canines must pass through here daily."

She looked at him her eyes slightly distant. ”Who said I was asleep?” she asked looking around to see if someone else had been around to tell this hybrid she had been sleeping. ”Can I not merely relax? And be warmed by the sun?” she asked looking at him with questioning eyes. This wolf was one of few who didn’t hate the dogs, or hybrids. She was one who didn’t care who she was around or who cared or didn’t. She was one to stand up for what she believed and not let another be tormented for something they can’t change. Though like any other wolf, if she were to be called a dog or a hybrid she would snap, an insult that didn’t go through her head easy, one that she didn’t let go of. She had nothing against such animals, nothing to hate them for or anything so why hate them? She sighed. Of course this male would be wondering about her not hating him. Or being rude towards him because he wasn’t a wolf. She shrugged and smiled to him as he bowed after introducing himself. ”Pleasure to meet you Kishimori” she said grinning. She glanced to the side, as he looked over the horizon. She smiled as she thought a moment Aww, I love his tail She smiled and looked at him again. Dakini tended to have more patience than that of many other wolves. She didn’t get annoyed very easy. She looked at him as he spoke again ”what are you doing in this place, anyway?” She smiled ”I was just walking, I got kind of lonely, I wanted some company so I stopped, and now here we are.” she stated. She tilted her head slightly and looked at him ”Why would you come, if all you wanted to do was question my being here?” she asked looking at him with curiosity. She looked at him one last time before looking back at the horizon, her back now being the one to get warmed by the sun, as it was slowly deciding to set. She sighed heavily and looked at the ground, she knew of the bombs just waiting to be set off through out the meadow, she smiled she had known of these for a while, but had always come here anyway. Just a relaxing walk, daily walk…

For once, he was stumped. He didn't know how to make a come-back to her statement of not sleeping. He decided to let it drop discretely; maybe she'd forget all about it if he didn't bring it up again. After all, he despised losing an argument; especially one that he had started. But, she had moved on to a different subject, much to his luck.
What he said in his head was often very different than what came out of his mouth, in general terms. But unlike what most would expect, what came out of his mouth was usually kinder than what he would be thinking..
He really didn't find anything as pleasing anymore, especially meeting someone. But manners were all he had now, and he would stick strictly to them. Plus, he was curious of this wolf. She seemed too nice to him. He'd never met something that smiled so much.. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well."
"I'm not here to question why you're here by the way," he stated quite directly. He was amazed that he actually stated something in a obvious way. It was usually so hard.. "You just seem.. happy, and this place isn't exactly what I would call a 'happy place'."
Everything was in a blanket a snow, covered until the spring, or at least until it got warm enough to start melting. The flowers were gone for the winter, covered entirely by the hardening snow; it was almost like a burial for the flowers to him. Then, the most important fact of all about the meadow hit him, and he suddenly felt angry for forgetting it.
"And I almost forgot," he said, raising his brow when he did wonder this. "Why would you be 'taking a walk' around a meadow full of bombs every day?"
The wolves of this land were odd to him at this point. He thought he'd be the only one crazy enough to walk around a meadow full of a bombs that could explode at the slightest touch. He shrugged it off quickly; he must be considered normal in this place.
