{{Try And Keep Up}}
Beyond the over grown meadows, the crossroads, lakes and forests, a single she wolf braves the hell-hole known as ROUD. Silently she walks over dead grass, lightly covered in winter snow. She slows down, stopping, and considers a lone tree as a spot to ponder.
Nyx lay down, facing the great fence. She curiously sniffed, metallic, bloody, gun powder. It had a nice touch to it, the scent of death, though the others would think she crazy for that. Of course the would, my darling voices rang silently in her head. That one she called murder. She couldn't remember when the voices started, and her arcane mind, vastly growing every day. She could easily spot the radio transmitters on the building, her mind gave her complex plans on how to get to them unseen, but she didn't allow her muscles to move her.
Go, free the dogs, the wolves. Destroy those machines, be free. Persuasion cooed through her ears. You'll be a hero to all. Nyx refused the offer. If it was her destiny to kill the radios, destroy the magnets or turn them off, as legend says, it would be on the day it was said to be done; when the rainbow touched the crossroads.
A grid formed in her mind, it pinpointed a man in a window, or a shape much like one, but it was slouching to much for a human. Perhaps a coat she suggested to herself as she rest her small nose on her forepaws. She enjoyed it here. Besides the 'Voices', it was peaceful. She was never bothered, yet, for the first few times visiting. She lay far from the building, yet close enough no dog, or wolf, would dare venture. She could watch patrols without being seen, and the one time she was, she dashed behind a tree, making the human believe she were a mirage. Yes, life was great here, her own heaven, within everyones hell.

Are you aware of what you make me feel? He paced himself toward the unknown compound, although he had no idea what might be in or around it. It was simply his curiosity calling him once again, and he was foolishly listening to it. He trotted steadily, weaving in and out of trees as if he was string on a loom, just so he could be sure that if danger did happen, he had safety to hide behind. He shuddered, remembering the human that had shot his father not so long ago. He could clearly remember the bullet piercing through his leg, knocking him against a tree as his blood spattered into the trunk of it. He remembered him falling, struggling to get back up because of the fiery, stinging pain, just in effort to protect his family and seek revenge for his other son. And he did, too. He killed that human that dared to touch his family. He was a true protector.
Now that Shin was without him, although, he had to simply follow his instincts and mimic the teachings that his wolf father had passed down to him. Like any hybrid, especially one with a wolf and larger dog ancestry such as Shin, he was bigger than your average grey wolf. He was bulkier, faster, and more vicious. He hadn't found any use in these qualities... yet.
He kept up his swift walk until he reached the last tree that was closest to the building's chain link fence, where he was just a little afraid of what he might find. He took one step out, then one more, slowly coming out so that he might be able to take a whiff of the fence and perhaps even beyond it to see what he could gather. If he collected that humans might be here, and they showed signs of threat, he would follow his dad's ways. He would attack and kill. It didn't seem right, but the incident left him the knowledge that humans were bad. He was going to stick with that theory.
He slowly pawed his way towards the fence, looking wildly in every direction and pricking his ears up, alert to any sound. He gave out a low, but blunt growl as he sniffed the fence, smelling very faintly of humans. The wind blew into his face, and he turned his head toward the smell of another canine. Oh God... this is just not my day... he thought. He walked slowly along the fence-line and then stopped, suddenly aware of two pairs of eyes staring at him. A wolf.
Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real.

{{Maybe You Can Find Me, Maybe}}
Trees rustled, a bird flew by, un-noticed. Nyra laid her small, dainty head against the cool ground, frozen grass engulfing her ear. She snorted at the humans un-cleanliness. She new of there way to be neat. She guessed they only cared of killing the dogs. She slowly rose back to her stomach, stretching her head from under the tree to smell once more.
Trees, the fence, a marking she had left a day before, the newly landed bird. Rare, she thought. Then a.... hybrid, Rarer. She opened one eye a slit, ebony eyes a deep set, showing vast knowledge in the small orbs. Her tail slightly bristled, the black streak showing a bit thick.
She sniffed once more at the mutt. Grey wolf, and another unknown dog. She decided she would learn that later. She examined him with a glance. All bulk, No Brains? suggested Persuasion. She heard the voice snicker. Probably like any other despirit dog, here to get killed, or steal you for his own.
Stop it! she snapped, curling into a ball as if to attack herself. She froze though, realizing she spoke that aloud. She looked at the still froze dog, and jumped to the low branch on the tree. It was broad, and easy to reach. She could flee if needed, but she was sure all she would have to do was suffer humiliation. It was strong as well, holding her easy, but by the brutes size he would most likely bend it.
Look whispered murder. Nyx glanced, the slumped jacket turned now. She leaned forward, afraid to speak, but she must, right? Sir wolf-dog, there is a human in the window. Best you come under the tree, were he can't see you as well. Her voice was rough, from being un-used, but it was concerned. She wasn't sure why though
She looked up again, the guy stood still, but she could see his deep set eyes. She didn't hate the humans, but she couldn't help but bare a tooth. I still say destroy the machines, kill the humans. Chimed in persuasion. Yes kill, destroy! shouted murder. No! I am descent, even with you crazy voices and weird knowledge. She grunted loudly, watching the starling above. It seemed she forgot the brute was there.

Are you aware of what you make me feel? He retracted at her insane words. Stop it! rang through his mind as he wondered what was wrong with her; she was not normal, was his first thoughts. Then he heard her kindly words of welcome. He contemplated on if they were real or not, trying not to focus on just the superficial. He took two steps forward and stopped, observing her words of 'human in the window.' His head shifted ever-so-lightly, slowly and not alarming. He looked at the form shading through the window, although it hadn't spotted him out yet. How unfortunate... he thought. So I can't rip his throat out yet... his teeth bared and a deep and ripping growl rose in his throat just at the sight of a human. He wanted the human's beady eyes to rest on him. He wanted the opportunity of killing one, just to avenge his one brother for himself. He wasn't such a pup anymore. He was ready to take on the action that he craved to start with humans. Then his head turned and one drop of saliva fell from his lips. She had invited him under her tree to not be seen by him. "Ha!" He scoffed, laughing almost maniacally. "I want them to see me! I want to see them bleed. But thank you dearest, for your kindness." As if he was attempting an action of suicide, he walked into plain view of any human that might see him, especially the one in the window. He slouched down and his hackles rose menacingly. His snarls sounded like tearing fabric and his muzzle wrinkled up with despise. Come out and fight... he thought impatiently. Fight the real way, without your piercing shotguns and burning hunting equipment. You're all cheaters... another rippled growl came through his chest as he remembered how unfair it was, the way the one hunted down his family. His head shook, and saliva spiraled. He was drooling now, dripping off of his fangs. His claws dug into the earth as the human reached to open the window. Then he saw his next worst enemy. A shotgun. He placed it on the window pane and put his eye up to it, aiming straight for Shin. As soon as he targeted him right in the middle, he pulled the trigger. Shin shifted his quick body to the side, jumping to the other side as he watched the bullet rage through the ground. He looked up at the human with blazing silver eyes and gave him one more loud and ruffled growl, then turned and walked away. Hearing the trigger once more, he quickly jumped up as the new bullet skidded underneath him. He sighed with disapproval and walked over to this new creature. "Hello, shewolf. Thank you for having compassion, but I have a thing against humans..." his voice trailed off.
Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real.

{{Fools, All of Them}}
She listened to the wolf-dogs voice. She could hear the pain, fury, revenge well up inside of him. She pitied the poor thing, guessing his history. Perhaps the humans cam for him? she thought. Her ears swiveled at his last words, if she wouldn't have the ability to sense tones in ones voice, she would think the words more melancholy. She pinned her ears, listening to the bird flutter away by the animals harsh words...'I want them to see me'... She grunted soundlessly. Cocky brute, is he not questioned the Sadist side of her, she herself didn't much care for them, so she gave a bored sure to herself.
Her muscles tensed, lactic acid welled up in her legs, screaming go. She didn't, she just pinned her ears and snarled wildly. "What the hell is your problem. I don't care if the humans hurt you, who cares what they think. Your the one acting like the senseless brute wanting to kill. Your part wolf, show some pride and dignity, and don't shame our names" Her voice turned soar from the constant growling, and her body twitched away once more from the second gun shot. She jumped down from her branch and grabbed the dog by the scruff, she didn't care if he was bigger, he was pissing her off. She grabbed him, forcing him to stumble back wards.
"I regret showing compassion, and my name is Nyra. I don't care if you have a thing toward humans ether, think of others around you, by you." She glared down at him, but a glint caught her eye. A man was walking out, the one from the window. From were she and the wolf-dog stood, she would have to run a good two hundred yards to run out of range. The gun aimed at her, and she knew that she was to kill the hybrid or die herself. She didn't dare hurt him though, she wasn't against dogs, or hybrids. She didn't want to die though. She turned, standing her ground. Her mind objected, her voices were even frightened, telling her to run. She didn't listen. She watched as he opened a gate to get a clearer shot. She charged, flying at the man.
She was regretting it as she did, she wouldn't be able to come back to her paradise, were most wouldn't bother her. As her mind zoomed with possibilities, she knocked the man on the stomach, watching him gasp for air. She froze as he took the gun loosely in one hand, and pointed it at her. She jumped out of the way, just before a shot rang out. Her ears objected, and then her back paw. She turned to snarl at the man, but fell as her leg went numb.

Are you aware of what you make me feel? Upon hearing her disapproving scolding toward him, his brows furrowed and his voice deepened itself. He normally was kind to others, but when he didn't earn the proper respect and estimation of himself, he was angered. "The last thing I am doing is shaming the name. I'm just following what I've learned from my father. All humans need to be destroyed so that the wolves are safe." He rolled his eyes at her and gave a piquant growl, glaring into her black eyes. Her attention drifted and he followed her staring eyes, locking them on the approaching armed human. She darted out in front of him, to Shin's amazement, and jumped to him menacingly. His teeth bared and he took off as well, craving some human blood to be spilled. He watched as she flipped him over, and as he grasped the gun once again. The shot rang out and burned through her leg and she fell helpless. The smell of the gun smoke angered him more than anything in the world, and he jumped over Nyra and landed on the man, who was trying desperately to arrange another shell into his shotgun. He took the black metal tube into his fangs and held it there, resisting every tug from the weak, pathetic man. These men were even worse than the wolf hunter he and his family encountered. In their souls their was a fire of pure evil blazing through, spreading more and more everyday. He could catch a glimpse of all of this in one look into his eyes, and he simply tossed the now-bent shotgun to the side, out of the human's reach. His lips pulled back from his glinting teeth, and he retorted, "You're all cheaters." In the blink of an eye, he struck at the human's throat, gashing it so deep that in killed him instantly. A deep puddle of blood started to form beneath him, and it stained his paws. Crimson droplets dripped off of his lips and onto his kill as he stared down at it. One down... his head shot up as he heard clanking noises coming from within the building, as if more of them were coming out; but he needed a plan. A plan with tactic. Now wasn't the right time. He jumped from the human's chest to the shotgun, placing his forepaws on the handle and gripping his fangs around the end. With a quick jerk, he bent the shotgun even more until it was in the shape of an acute angle. He smiled at his handy work, but only for a moment. He ran to Nyra and grasped her by the scruff of her neck, pulling her up. He knew very well that this probably hurt, but their was no time for slow casualties. He backed up with her still in his jaws and said in a muffled voice, "At least I know what the hell I'm doing." As soon as they were under the cover of trees, he dropped her and trotted away, wondering if she would follow. He licked his crimson lips, tasting the salty copper flavor. It disgusted him.
Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real.

{{Now, It's On}}
Slow blackness trickled over dazed eyes. She fought it. Numbness spread up her torso. She ignored it. She looked as the brute killed the human, bending his tool with the immense heat. She went to stand, wincing at the pain. She growled at herself, scolding herself for her weakness. Her head snapped back wards, ready to bight as she felt pain in her neck, but held herself as she watched the hybrid pull her away. Your weak, you could never defend yourself, no matter how much smarts you have. She growled at her inner 'Voices', before the idea dawned her. "Get back here, I'm sorry for insulting you, but you can't take them all head on." She limped up beside him, smelling the blood on the wolf's muzzle. She clumsily trotted until she stood before him.
"I may not be the strongest, and I may seem crazy, but I'm smart. I know things the wisest wolves could never dream of imagining, and I see things in weird ways. I know how to turn off the magnets, and I know how to kill the humans with a single move. Now please, before more come, let's go some were safer, and plan. It felt weird to her, talking like this to someone. She was beginning to regret it. She had told wolves that before, and they laughed, or thought her crazy. She only hoped he would listen. Of course he won't listen. Your already cripple, he'll probably just dispose of you now. Your fur is to fine and thing, and you have little strength to protect your jugular. She ignored her Voices as best as she could, but it was hard. She concentrated on giving the Brute a stern commanding look, the ones mothers gave to miss-behaving pups, and she was a damn pro at that. She glanced behind her, two more humans were there now. She pinned her ears and growled, turning to face them. She could see, one had a .22, and the other had a .22-250. Both had there quirks. The .22 didn't go all the way through, but stayed in the body to give led poisoning, the other was a clean kill that could go all the way through. She gave a menacing growl, turning all the way to stare down the humans. Each had ether of them in their sights, but the fence was in the way, a simple gush of wing would make the bullet hit the chain links. She closed her eyes, listening for the wind. It was blowing just right, it would work if they were careful.
The fea side stepped several millimeters, pushing the brute over just as much. "Don't move" she strained her voice to keep it a quiet whine, a show for the humans, "The way there aimed at us, the bullets will be stopped by the fence, and don't worry of the fence breaking, it's steal." She watched as the two of them pulled back the triggers, she pinned her ears as the sound of shot and ricochet sounded. One bullet, from the .22-250, bounced back and shot the guy in the eye. The .22 bullet just shattered upon hitting the fence. The man looked at her in fury, as her eyes twinkled, taunting.

Are you aware of what you make me feel? He was amazed at the humans, the killing machines, trying their very best to destroy them. A deep, yet quiet growl emitted from his throat, but he let it go as soon as Nyra began to talk. She was absolutely right. Because of their cheating ways, he could never take them all head on. he cringed at the mere sight of this, the picture in his mind; being blown into pieces by twenty different shotguns with blood everywhere. Not the most ideal way I thought of dying... he reminded himself deeply. Once Nyra started talking once again, his hair started to rise in static. She was strange, she was different. How did she know all of these things, how to turn whatever a "magnet" was off, how to kill a human with a single move? He doubted that. She could have proved that to him about thirty seconds ago, but instead he was left to saving her. He shook his head in disbelief. As soon as the armed humans were at the fence once again, the growl returned a bit lower and more menacing. He didn't stop when she began to talk for the third time, but he did listen intently. He wouldn't deny to himself that he was afraid; she was telling him to stand still as they were in the center of the gun's target. His growl was on edge and the tone changed to a whine every few seconds. His tongue lolled out and he started to pant, panicking inside himself... death felt too near for comfort, yet she was perfectly fine. Maybe not serene, from the previous circumstance, but she was fine. He heard the two guns explode, expecting it to burst into his heart so he would die. His eyes closed tight for one instant, but then he heard the shrill cry of the human and a shattering sound that he wasn't able to identify. She eyelids flashed open and he saw the blood running out of the man's eye. His jaw dropped open as he peered to Nyra, her expression scaring him as if she knew of what would happen. The other man didn't even bend down to help the one bleeding from the bullet through his eye. His stomach wrenched. Didn't these foul playing monsters have any compassion whatsoever? Not even to their own kind? When he started to feel as if he was going to be sick, he turned and walked swiftly into the sparsely rooted trees. There was too much to think about, and his head hurt from the all of the loud sounds. He had to get some water. He turned back to Nyra, his expression sickly and pale, and called to her, "Come with me if you want." He weakly turned back around, feeling as if he could throw up at any given moment. His tail hung low and almost between his back legs.
Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real.

{{Meet Me Were the Sun Rises}}
Watching as the humans eyes seemed almost glowing with fury, the other was gurgling blood. She cringed at the smell of humans, something un-natural about it, compared to beast-people. She watched the brute shy away from here weird thoughts, and how they had just only been missed. She skirted away, limping heavily, under the tree. She glanced back at the humans. They only glared, but didn't leave the fencing perimeter. She listened to the brute, and nodded in answer. Yes, you should follow, it's safe. all her Voices rang. She had to agreed, before the humans grew courage. Then it smacked her across the head, she didn't know the wolf-dogs name. She looked at him, using her three good legs to catch up. "Um, I know this isn't the greatest of times, and you probably want to get rid of me as fast as you can, but I still don't know your name"
She blushed under her fur, though it had gone un-noticed. She had realized the brutes flushed appearance. She knew it was her fault. She let herself look at the dog-wolf for a brief minute, and felt her heart sank. She realized she liked this hybrid, she wasn't sure how, but she knew it would hurt, for a while, if he left. She let herself pull herself after him, mind screaming how pitiful she was, or laughing at her dreams. She knew she wasn't fit of friends, her only use was probably to help the dogs leave the compound. Blankly she stared around her, she noticed they were only 150 or so yards from the meadow, and that it was safe the stop. She could smell the humans had went inside. she fell back on her haunches "Sorry if..if I scared you with that. It was a risky move, I shouldn't have....." she trailed off, pinning her audlets, and looking away, pretending to be interested in a bird.

Are you aware of what you make me feel? "My... my name?" he let out a weak laugh with more effort than she'd know. He stopped for one moment to let her catch up, and when she had, he replied with his voice even, trying to keep himself stable. He was from a family pack, he wasn't used to the supernatural; "My name is Shinrai. And yes, you did frighten me a bit back there," his head motioned back to the fence. He continued his walk, which was growing stiffer and slower by the second. His ears perked up when he heard at light splash, and his stride widened, him suddenly going a bit faster. He needed water quickly. His throat was completely dry and scratchy, the kind that shy beasts get when they walk in front of a huge crowd of others and have to perform a promptitude speech. When they finally made their way up a small lump of a hill, he gazed down, pointing out to himself a small puddle of water caused by the previous rainfall. His paws started to pick themselves up to a run. He didn't stop when he got to the puddle, either; he drenched himself in it. Standing in the center, he dipped his head down and started inhaling the water in, lapping it up like it was the difference between life and death. When he could no longer breath he lifted his head up. The blood that had begun to dry on his chin was washing itself away, and that was enough to satisfy him. She would never believe him that he had just committed his first murder today. His stomach twisted once again and his ears fell back. He peered down to the reflective water and looked at the distorted, rippling image of himself. He whined. He was going to be like his father when his personality was done developing... and that day was going to be very soon. Canaan was shaping it even more for him. Since he was already soaked throughout his coat, he sat it the water and just stared down at the ripples waiting for his head to stop hurting. once it was all mainly gone, which was about five minutes, he looked up at Nyra. "How do you know things?" he asked curiously. "How do you know what's going to happen, and how do you know things that only humans should know?" Instead of keeping direct contact with her coal black eyes, he looked away into the winter weeds and listened to the crickets chirping. He didn't want to get sick in front of an acquaintance.
Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real.

{{I Screw Up, Time to Leave}}
Her eyes drooped toward the dirt, a single flake from a tree above landing on her paw. She smiled, only slightly, for a half a second. She inhaled deeply, quietly, readying her self to talk, to answer Shinrai's-She liked his name-questions. She opened her maw, but nothing came out. She sighed, settling herself onto the ground, still not facing him, though she allowed herself a glance to see him staring into the water. She took a few seconds, thinking it over. She liked Shinrai, she knew it wasn't love though, more as a good friend, at least she wanted it that way. She told herself she would try and decide it later, Shinrai needed an answer. Nyra turned her head slightly so he could see her side profile, but she kept her eyes forward, watching as the snow decided it was once again time to fall.
"Shinrai..." his name rolled around on her tongue, testing it out. " I..I don't understand it myself. My mind, it sees things in a complex form, it goes in depths of simple things and thrusts the knowledge upon me. Whatever it is that has happened to me, however it has happened, I think it was for a reason. But it's torcher, like a curse. I may be able to see things, to help, but it has its side affects." she turned her head away from his once more, clamping her lids shut, refusing her tears need to fall. It didn't help, as each fell upon the ground. Her breath shuddered, she didn't want to tell him everything, about the voices, she didn't want him to go. She needed him for...the thought hit her. She needed someone to support her, help her. She breathed in, stopping herself as her mind screamed, the 'Voices, commanded her to stop. She may need help, but they didn't want her too, she didn't know why though. Instead she fought it, pulling out her pause for a few minutes, till she had hold of herself. "I..I have these voices. They tell me things. I know it's crazy, I don't like it, but..but there's no stopping it." She inhaled deeply once more. She couldn't bring herself to look at him. It was too much.
'Hah, you dumb bitch. You just ensured a life alone, once again. I'm glad you didn't listen to us.' her 'Voices' cackled together. She thought of growling, ignoring the impulse. It would only make her look worse. She just glared at the ground. Her eyes smarted as the sun hit the snow and reflected back into her eyes. She closed them, kneading the snow like a cat does a carpet to sharpen its claws. She wanted to look back at Shinrai, but she was afraid of what he would say in response. She felt a pang of hate for herself. She just wanted to run, and never stop, till her paws bled, or she starved, or her lungs burst. She just wanted to jump off a cliff, or stand in front of a gun, or pick a fight with a bear. She hated herself too much to live. Others, she suspected, probably felt the same way, probably. She could only hope that. She again dared herself to turn and look at the hybrid, suspecting he had already run off to let her die, or he was getting ready to kill her. Such abstract wolves or dogs were disposed of anyway, and she was in no shape to fight him off like she could others. She only kept her head forward, pinning her ears backward, listening for his reply, if he had one.

Are you aware of what you make me feel? Shin's floating eyes were carried by the wind as he refused to break his gaze upon the few snowflakes that were drifting around. In his mind he was desperately wanting to know what she was talking about, but he couldn't comprehend it. She said something that sounded to him like her mind was more complex than other animals', and she was smart and knew many things others didn't know. Completely normal, he nodded. So how could being more intelligent than others be a hindrance, or a 'curse' as she had put it?
His face slowly turned to her, resting on her ever anxious eyes and stressed appearance. He felt sorry for her, but he was quiet. He knew that she was about to say something else. His ears pricked forward as she started talking dreadfully about what? Did she say 'voices'? he thought. His head cocked, but he made no sound. He just listened to the end of her sentence echo off into his mind. No stopping it... No stopping it... No stopping it... He shook his head out of his daze and confusion to stare up at her. He observed her sorrow and inability to look at him, and he suddenly felt compassion for her instead of remorse or saucy hatred. His ears lay back and his body rose itself up, unconsciously walking him over just a few feet away from her. He sat on his haunches, the sick feeling nearly gone, and he said, "Nyra... what you are telling me is definitely not normal. Although-" He ceased in mid-sentence, rolling his eyes and trying to decide whether or not he should follow what his heart had written out for him.
He decided to go with his instincts and spoke once again. "I'm not going anywhere. I don't have anywhere to go." he shook his head and then swallowed hard, trying his best to not look at her too skeptically. "You seem a bit interesting, so I'm going to hang around for a while. I want to know a bit more about you..." He raised one brow and then smiled.
He silently lifted himself up and walked past her, as if he had heard nothing strange. She seemed as if she was ready for me to kill her... he told himself. He sighed. Maybe being born and raised into a family pack was a good thing. The others might be a little more harsh. He turned around to look at her once again, trying to joke around to take her mind off of whatever it might have been stuck on.
"By the way, smallish wolf..." he said teasingly, "Don't think I'm half dog, half wolf. I am only one forth dog, and thus I have plenty of hybrid vigor. I don't need anyone to guide me around the scawey wildaness." He winked at her and then ran off, singing. "I'ma loner in the wild, been one since I was a child..." His song faded away as he ran, and he was hoping that she would follow. She was different, but different could be a good thing. He smiled and nodded to himself.
Right now I feel invisible to you, like I'm not real.

{{...What to Say}}
She cringed slightly as he started his first sentence, 'Nyra... what you are telling me is definitely not normal. Although-'. Nyra sneered to herself 'Although your crazy and I'm leaving. the thought was more rueful than it was intended to be. She glanced back, watching him roll his eyes before looking back. Then she heard it, the words, though not exact, she's always wanted to hear. She smiled slightly, turning to face him, happy to see his own face carried a smile. 'He wants to get to know me!' She had to force herself not to jump up and lick him to death, never feeling this happy since she was a blissful pup. She glanced up as he got up to come around to her, raising an eyebrow at first to his humor, but smiling soon after. She got to her feet, careful not to press on her limp, and followed him swiftly. "I'm sorry if I'm 'Smallish', but not all genetics are nice. There has to be one runt of the litter, I guess you didn't get that though yah brute. She smiled, happy to run. Her leg seemed like nothing, the shot never hit a bone, but went through lose skin and a bit of cartilage. "Only one forth dog, well I guess that's a bit better. Your only part mutt" She joked, "And if you know so much you better not get me lost, I'm still fairly new to Canaan." She laughed at his stupid song, racing to catch up with him. Once beside him she shoved him with her maw playfully, shoving him a bit to the side. She then sprinted forward a bit, leaving him in the dust, or snow, turning her head to give him a cheesy smile.
She panted heavily as she kept a steady lead in front of Shin. She sniffed the crisp snowy air, pine and sage filling her nostrils. 'I think we're near the Golden Hana Meadow.' she told herself. She wasn't wanting to go there, she didn't want to risk exploding, though the thought made her a bit giddy. 'Maybe I'll tell Shin' she slowed down to a halt, turning toward Shinrai. 'I still think this is a bad idea, your setting yourself up for heartbreak. chimed in Sorrow. She ignored her 'Voices, telling herself she would never listen to them again, good idea or bad. She had a friend, and help. That's all she wanted, needed, right now. "Shinrai" she began, still holding a smile on her once bereaved face. "Is the only way out of here through the Golden Hana Meadow. I'm not in the mood to risk danger. She grinned a bit, once again, at the thought. It wasn't that she was morbid, but the thought of going boom was, well funny. She tried to think of another way she heard out, but it didn't come to her. All she knew is it was a long trek to the Sora forest, so as to be safest, and she was growing a tad bit hungry, well voracious actually. It had been a few days since she had last ate, and that was only a small rabbit and a sparrow. She suddenly heard her stomach rumble. She blushed slightly, hoping that Shin hadn't heard.
