12/05/09 So basically BX is up and running perfectly smooth. It's great! Roleplays are everywhere, and so are our silly games. It's good to have some nice and loyal members. You guys are the best! Christmas is on its way. Can you belief it's almost the end of the year already? It's crazy! It's great to see BX in its prime after a year of being opened. Thanks to all of you for being awesome.

Mini-plot- Hishigata, the traitor of the Shin-dogs « Thread Started on Jan 13, 2009, 8:17pm »
I'm looking for others who want to participate in this mini-plot. The Shinsengumi dogs are going to be up for adoption soon, and I want to know who's interested before I post them up.
After seeing that ROUD was a success in controlling the feral population of dogs, countries such as Japan, where the stray dog population had risen to 2,930 dogs per 3,280 feet in the early 2000s and nearly 9,780 dogs per 5,280 feet in 2049, began sending caught dogs to Canaan to rid themselves of unneeded animals. After the dogs adapted to the constant threat of humans trying to take them away, a new way of trapping animals without setting off the new "silent alarms" in their heads was set forward: the Shinsengumi(新選真戦士- Newly Elected Truth Fighters).
These dogs have been specifically trained to lead dogs in Japan back to the J-ROUD Dog Catchers, where they'll be sedated and sent off to Canaan. If they find that they cannot lead another toward humans, they have been taught to chase and kill them, or not to come back if they find they can't do either.
The dogs of Caanan have adapted too well to the daily threat of being killed, ROUD HQ observes. It would be bad for ROUD's funding and reputation if their "riddance of unwanted dogs" wasn't happening, so a pack of Shinsengumi dogs are being called to action to add another "obstacle" for the dogs and wolves.
But, as well as being trained to kill these dogs, the Shinsengumi are being tracked every moment of their lives, for they have a different form of microchip implanted into their necks, giving off a different signal than the regular ones implanted into dogs that are brought to Canaan. They still can get shot because the operatives of ROUD don't have scanners, and have to be careful when reporting back to HQ.
Hishigata was a pup when he was caught; the past dogs of the Shinsengumi telling him that he was killing off these "useless" canines to benefit not only his breed, but his species. He believed them, and did his best at his job. After three years of killing, he wonders if what he was doing was wrong.
