12/05/09 So basically BX is up and running perfectly smooth. It's great! Roleplays are everywhere, and so are our silly games. It's good to have some nice and loyal members. You guys are the best! Christmas is on its way. Can you belief it's almost the end of the year already? It's crazy! It's great to see BX in its prime after a year of being opened. Thanks to all of you for being awesome.

//OOC// In this thread, I'd prefer there not to be cursing or swearing. Please keep it clean.

Comatose sniffed the air, her dark russet ears pointed upward and alert.
The sun was just sinking behind the horizon, casting a pale golden glow on her dark brown fur. Blood red shimmering light draped the deserted land beyond the broken crossroads where she stood.
The she-wolf winced at it and let out a weak bark, remembering the days when she had always had food. She missed Ebony, and her homeland. Ever since she had been trapped in this empty land she hadn't found any garbage or rat carcasses to feed on. Her ribs jutted out of her sides, giving her a bony appearance.
Comatose sighed and shook her head. "Not a darned rat scent in this wolf-forsaken world." she muttered under her breath with a hint of ruefulness. "Not one."
The dark brown she-wolf turned away from the sun's glare and stared blankly at the crossroads. They were crumbled in places and completely deserted with grass growing through large cracks in the road. Plants had found there way through the crumbling and the appearance was rough and untidy. Like me, she thought. A lot like me.
Comatose lifted a large, tough-skinned paw and placed it gingerly on the road. She howled softly and thought back to Ebony and her unborn pups. They would never see her now, and she couldn’t help being glad. If anyone saw her as a broken wreck like she was now she would be even more ashamed and unhappy. Comatose listened to her quiet howl as it blew through the wind, carrying away to places unknown. ”Am I trapped?” she wondered aloud, closing her eyes and lowering her head.
Shifting her paw, Comatose set it on a small patch of bracken that had spread through the road’s broken, cracked tar. She whimpered and raised her muzzle to look at the blood red sky, lowering her shoulders and letting out a long, lonely howl.
Comatose sighed and shook her head, turning to leave.
