BX is at its best when everyone is back in school. Sure, we all get a little distracted when the breaks come. But the cool thing is, everyone comes back. Thanks for being awesome like that everyone =)
BX now has its own homepage. Whenever we affiliate with anyone from now on, the affiliate will lead them directly to the BX homepage. You can access this page by clicking the link in the Menu Bar.
BX also has a new default skin that matches with the homepage. I (Fellixe) will be using this one quite often because I simply love the new colors! Although if you're attached to one and want to continue using it, you can always change your skins by Modifying your Profile. Another new feature is that you can change your current mood there. Great, huh?
One last thing. Signatures HAVE to be 450px wide or less. If yours is not changed within a week, we will hunt you down and change it for you. We want the forum to look its best. Thanks!

Welcome to Broken Xroads, an intermediate wolf and dog roleplay. What makes BX special is its unique plot and and awesome skin. Roleplays are always fun, and when you have nothing to do, check out the games and contests! There's always something happening.
If you create a character and do not finish it within a week, it will be moved to the adoptables section. Please keep this in mind when you join. Please notify Fellixe by PM if a problem arises.
Plot Summary
Bombs exploding! Poisonous waters! Polluted air... how much more will they be able to stand? The wolves and dogs have sided with each other, with the occasional exception of a stubborn soul. Winter is beginning its deadly tirade, and the canines are already starting to buckle down and find shelter. Some of them might not make it, however. Faith and hopes are drowned, for what rainbows band the air in the winter sky? Year 2 is at hand. Will you survive?

Creativity and Imagination Here is the vicinity where you may post your creative works and share your muse with other members of the forum. If you have anything that you'd like to share, whether it be drawings, graphic designs, stories, poems, or other types of innovative works, please let it be displayed here. You might also find some contests that you could pleasure yourself in.
Plot Currencies Here is where you can locate the current lines in the basic plot. Any suggestions you have are acknowledged (but not necessarily instilled unless staff thinks that it will flow with the storyline well). If you have a miniplot for your character, you are also welcome to post them here and acquire a few of members eager to roleplay along with you.
Introductions Are you a new member wanting to make some friends? Perhaps you want to tell us a little about yourself and your life? Well, come on in and say hello! New members are always welcome in. There is no form to fill out; simply tell us whatever you wish to say about yourself, whether it be real-life facts or random information. And welcome to the forum!
Absences For your account's safety reasons, we ask that you notify us if you are going to be off of the forum for at least three days or more. Please tell us how long you might be off and a reason why. If you are planning on leaving the site for good, make sure that you post here to say your farewells. If for any reason you were discontented with BX, please explain to us why so that we can make the forum better and more suitable for all members. Thank you.

Canine Creation When you have registered with BX and are now ready to take on the responsibility of the roleplay, you may enter into this area and begin to create your very own character. Rules of stats are inside, as well as a character form to inscribe. Please follow all of the guidelines; you will be accepted soon enough.
Character Logs If you have accepted characters, you have the choice of creating a character log for them. Character logs are basically what has happened to them in the past (the "history" portion of their biographies, possibly), current status, roleplays participated in the past, and current roleplays. It's kind of like their own personal journal. You can put basically anything that you'd like in here, so have fun with it.
The dreaded land, masked by beauty and filled with suffering. Their are many different territories inside the borders of Canaan, and they all have their pros and cons. Mainly, though, Canaan is the land of trouble and chaos, killing and pain. All of the inhabitants of Canaan have a dream that one day the land will be a paradise, but this dream is very farfetched.
Many wolves have resorted to living on the borderlands of their once-sweet home of Canaan because of all of the chaos inside. A huge chain-link fence surrounds the perimeter of Canaan and marks the beginning of the borderlands, although many smart canines have figured out ways through the fence. The dogs that do escape normally do not survive because of the savage predators that are lurking outside, waiting for their lunch to wander right toward them.
The outskirts can be considered as somewhat of a refuge. Any canine that makes it past the borderlands and to the outskirts can be considered residing in a "safe zone." Their are very few houses that people live in, and the majority of them are old farmhouses filled with rats, stray cats, and other feral animals. The outskirts are frequently scanned by the members of ROUD, and if they find a dog, they will go right back to the land of Canaan -- if they aren't beaten to death first.
The Recycle Bin Here is where all of the old posts go when they become inactive over a period of time. Only the ones that have some importance or are somewhat entertaining will be recycled. All others will be deleted.
