10.21.09 After a little bit of remodeling, BX is up and running once again! Get ready for the flood of new members to come in! Over the past year, BX has grown A LOT of interest from people over the internet. Most of the fans are from Youtube, DeviantArt, and Facebook, but I know that many of the former members we've had are also still dedicated to BX and it's plot. The role play board is now featuring Volume 2. The new plot will be up shortly, exhibiting a bit of change and a lot more action. Hope to see you on the boards! Happy writing =)

Fellixe is the creator of BX and it's plot. She loves to roleplay, but sometimes gets distracted by her busy lifestyle.
Fellixe, or "Fell" / "Felli" as she likes to be called, is a very active person. She loves to be at home but can't seem to find the time to be there as much as she'd like. She is a senior in high school and also a freshman in college (if you'd like to know how that works, PM her!). She also works at a pet store. Fell hopes to major in Media Arts or Graphic Design, and perhaps minor in writing.
German Shepherd
The German Shepherd Dog is a breed of large-sized dog that originated in Germany. German Shepherds are a relatively new breed of dog, whose origins date to 1899. As part of the Herding group, the German Shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding sheep. Because of their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training they are often employed in police and military roles, in forces around the world. Due to their loyal and protective nature, the German Shepherd is one of the most registered of breeds.

Maned Wolf
This mammal is found in open and semi-open habitats, especially grasslands with scattered bushes and trees. IUCN lists it as near threatened, while it is considered vulnerable by the Brazilian government (IBAMA). It is the only species in the genus Chrysocyon. It is locally known as aguará guazú (meaning “large fox”) in the Guarani language, as "lobo guará" in Portuguese and as "lobo de crin" in Spanish.

Welcome to Broken Xroads, an intermediate wolf and dog roleplay. What makes BX special is its unique plot and and awesome skin. Roleplays are always fun, and when you have nothing to do, check out the games and contests! There's always something happening.
If you create a character and do not finish it within a week, it will be moved to the adoptables section. Please keep this in mind when you join. Please notify Fellixe by PM if a problem arises.
The Plot
For them, every day is another chance for death to claim their lives. Every day, they pray and dream but never find relief for their tortured, angry souls. Their only hope is that the one legend that has been passed down from the many generations of wolves is true; the one thing that they might be able to hold on to and count on is valid:

Guests and Members Here is where the members may associate with the guests. There is a ran board that they are allowed to talk on, and enclosed you may also find the "Affiliate" and "Advertisement" boards. If you have any questions, a help board is provided for members and guests to use. Follow the rules!
The Member's Lounge Inside this board you will find anything and everything related to members. Make introductions, tell us if you will be absent, ect! Have fun and follow the rules.
Plot Currencies Here is where you can locate the current lines in the basic plot. Any suggestions you have are ackowledged (but not necessarily instilled unless staff thinks that it will flow with the storyline well). If you have a miniplot for your character, you are also welcome to post them here and aquire a few of members eager to roleplay along with you.
Canine Creation When you have registered with BX and are now ready to take on the responsibility of the roleplay, you may enter into this area and begin to create your very own character. Rules of stats are inside, as well as a character form to inscribe. Please follow all of the guidelines; you will be accepted soon enough.
Relationships and Pups If your character is a femme and they have mated, come here if you wish for them to have pups. You must post using the form inside so it is easier for us to figure out the genes and other information. It is the staff's choice on how many pups they will give birth to, so please accept the number. If you have certain characteristics that you want the litter to possess, please make a detailed list in "suggestions" off of the form inside.

Character Logs If you have accepted characters, you have the choice of creating a character log for them. Character logs are basically what has happened to them in the past (the "history" portion of their biographies, possibly), current status, roleplays participated in the past, and current roleplays. It's kind of like their own personal journal. You can put basically anything that you'd like in here, so have fun with it.
ROUD Compound The compound of ROUD is the most hated place among Canaan. It is located in the central of the land, where hardly a dog or wolf will ever be found roaming, for fear of the dreaded and abusive volunteers. All of the people are merciless to the animals. If one tends to get on their nerves, they will bear their rifles and shoot without a second thought. They love to see the suffering of the dogs and wolves, and for this, the canines have sworn to seek revenge for their broken souls. The building, made of cement, is surrounded by extra-high chainlink fencing with curled barbed wire at the top. At the bottom, about a foot off of the ground, is electric wire to ward off every living thing that attempts to come in. The volunteers inside the building can see everywhere the dogs are, so it is nearly impossible for them to get too close without being shot or warded off. The wolves, however, cannot be caught on the radar, and thus they can go virtually anywhere as long as they don't get caught.
Hana Field The field of Hana is one of the most calming places of serene tranquility and peace, with its gentle breezes, sweet scents of goldenrods and other various types of wildflowers. The sun beams down vibrantly, warming anything that comes in view. Such a place is rare to find in Canaan. It's a very large area, expanding for a couple of miles. The flowers seem to have a strange calming effect on all creatures that go through, if they accept it. If an inexperienced weary dog or wolf was to pass through, they would gladly fall asleep. This field is a few miles away from ROUD. Despite the secure aura reverberating throughout the field, this also makes it one of the most deadly places of all. There are thousands of bombs throughout the field, and they are triggered to go off if they are stepped on wrong or if their time runs out. A bomb explosion will almost surely kill any canine, so keep up your guard and resist every temptation to fall into a slumber.
Aoiro Lake Aorio lake is a solid sparkling blue in color. It is a great place to catch all different types of fish or other water-residing creatures for a tasty feast, although be careful that the area you've fished out of doesn't have toxic floating around; this can kill a canine over the span of a few days. The toxic looks like a liquid of metallic rainbows floating above the water, which is very decieving because it looks very beautiful but it is fatal. Occasionally, when the toxic gets exceptionally bad (triggered by the wasted materials the volunteers throw out) you will see dead fish floating above the surface. Many dogs look at this as an easy catch, although a fish ingested with poison is called sure death.

Kage Forest The Kage Forest is where most of the wolves reside, for it is the farthest habitat away from ROUD. There are many trees expanding for miles around. Despite the constant cover of trees, the radar can still point out every dog that wanders through. Dogs will roam through here and often be frightened by the wolves, although the wolves are normally not vicious toward them, because their anger is pointed to the humans as well. Shadows cast out all over the land, and the cool climate's breeze weaves and twists through the trees, chilling the animals with less fur. In the morning, dew is trickled all over the leaves and moss, cold to the touch and clean to the taste. At night, howls echo throughout the woods, awaiting answers.

Sora Mountain Range This is a small mountainous area outside of Kage that is filled with pine trees at the base that slowly dissipate as it goes further up. At the top of the mountain, a small waterfall trickles down into a gentle pool of clear water inside the forest. Rocks make up the most of the terrain on the mountain, along with the strong smelling dead pine needle beds underneath the trees. At night, many owls can be heard talking back and forth to each other, hooting and exchanging news of the day. The moon is milkier and larger here than any other area, especially at the top. Wolves come here to meet, and more and more dogs have been arriving at the area as well. A beautiful undiscovered aurora beams rainbows down, blanketing up a few of the stars and glistening along with the rest of them. One of the few dangers of the area is the other side of the mountain, where a dangerous air floats through constantly due to nuclear explosions of past bursting through the water. This gas is fatal to anyone who breathes it for an extended amount of time.
The Crossroads Legend has it that the broken crossroads will be revealed when the dogs and wolves unite and become allies. On a great unknown day, a rainbow will point in the direction of the crossroads and they will be available to walk on and shield the radar from picking up the location of all of the dogs, leading to a brand new realm unlike any other. The wolves don't know for sure what the realm leads to, but they've heard from stories of their forefathers that it is a paradise. As of right now, the crossroads are only deserted roads without a purpose. Many a canine can be found wandering around the old cracked roads trying to figure out where it would lead. All of the wolves that have followed the roads have come home months later saying it leads to harsh lands that have searing hot climates in the summer and freezing temperatures in the winter. They can only hope that the myth is valid.
